Child safety

Where we stand, and how to reach us if something ever worries you.

Where we stand

We have zero tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children — in any form, with no exceptions. We will never knowingly allow Deep Dive Danger to be used to harm a child, and we’ll act immediately on any report that suggests otherwise.

Why this game is a safe place

Deep Dive Danger is a single-player game. That means there is simply no way for one player to reach another:

  • No chat or messages — players can’t contact each other at all.
  • No accounts or profiles — nobody can look you up.
  • No uploading — no photos, videos or files can be shared.
  • No comments or forums — there’s nothing to post to.

With no way for strangers to reach a player, the game gives grooming and harmful content nowhere to happen. The only outside content anyone sees is an ad from our advertising partner, which has to follow its own strict content rules.

Who the game is for

Deep Dive Danger is cartoon action — robot mines, a harpoon, no blood, no bad language — but it is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and how we handle information is explained on the Privacy Policy page.

Telling us about a problem

If you see anything in or around Deep Dive Danger that worries you where a child is concerned — including an advert — tell us straight away at chybesta@gmail.com, with “Child safety” in the subject line. These reports jump to the front of the queue and we’ll reply within 24 hours.

Who handles these: The developer — chybesta@gmail.com

What we do about it

  • We look into every single report, quickly.
  • Anything that appears to be child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to the police, as the law requires.
  • Problem ads go straight to our advertising partner so the ad can be pulled from the network.
  • We cooperate fully with law enforcement.

We follow the child safety laws of every country Deep Dive Danger is available in, along with Google Play’s child safety standards. We review this page whenever the game changes, and at least once a year.
