What we collect
The same answers we gave the app store, written out so you can actually read them.
In one line: the ads collect a little. The game collects nothing.
The quick answers
| Does anything leave my phone? | Only ad information, install and gameplay measurement by third-party partners, crash reports and, if you allow them, game reminders. |
| Do I have to give you anything to play? | No. No account, no email, nothing. |
| Can I play with no internet? | Yes — the whole game. Then nothing leaves your phone at all. |
| Is it sent securely? | Yes, over an encrypted connection. |
| Can I delete it all? | Yes, any time. Here’s how. |
| Do you sell my information? | No. |
What the ads collect
Our advertising partner collects this when it shows you an ad. It goes to them, not to us — we only ever see a total of what the ads earned.
| What | Why | Can I avoid it? |
|---|---|---|
| Your advertising ID | To pick ads and avoid showing you the same one over and over | Yes — reset or switch it off in your phone’s settings, or play offline |
| Rough location from your IP address | So ads make sense for your country | Yes — the game never asks for your real location |
| Phone model, OS, language | So the ad fits your screen and works | Yes — play offline |
| Whether the ad played or was tapped | So you get your reward when you watch one to the end | Yes — only happens if you choose to watch |
What our third-party partners collect
We work with third-party partners to measure which ad, link or invite led to an install, to open our links on the right screen, to show our ads to people likely to enjoy the game, and to fix crashes. The data goes to those partners; we only see campaign totals, install sources and crash reports. In Europe and the UK, measurement and advertising data is only shared if you agree on the consent screen.
| What | Why | Can I avoid it? |
|---|---|---|
| Your advertising ID (if allowed) and device details | To match an install or open to the ad or link that caused it | Yes — reset or switch off your advertising ID; in Europe/UK, decline on the consent screen |
| Rough location from your IP address | To report installs by country | Yes — the game never asks for your real location |
| Install and app-open times | To tell new players from returning ones | Yes — play offline |
| In-game events (level started/cleared, game over, rewarded video, Store unlock, invite shared) | To understand how the game is played and improve our ad campaigns | Yes — play offline, or decline on the consent screen in Europe/UK |
| Crash reports (what went wrong, device model, OS version) | So we can find and fix crashes | Only sent if the game crashes |
Game reminders
If you allow notifications, our notification service gives your phone an anonymous notification ID so it can receive the occasional reminder. We never see or store it. Turn reminders off in your phone’s notification settings.
What stays on your phone
This is saved on your device and never sent anywhere — not to us, not to our partners, not to a backup:
- Levels beaten and best scores
- The score you’ve banked to spend
- Diver kits and harpoons you own
- Music and sound settings
What we never collect
- Your name, email, phone number or address
- Any account or password — the game doesn’t have accounts
- Card or payment details — you can’t spend money in the game
- Your exact location
- Contacts, messages, call history or calendar
- Photos, videos, recordings or files
- Health or fitness information
- What you browse or search for
