My progress disappeared. Can I get it back?
Progress, your score wallet and everything you own are stored locally on your device only. They are not backed up to a server, so uninstalling the game or clearing its storage permanently removes them, and they cannot be restored or transferred between devices.
The rewarded ad did not give me my reward.
Rewards only grant when the ad plays to completion. If an ad was closed early, was interrupted by a call, or failed to load because of a weak connection, nothing is charged and nothing unlocks — you can simply try again. If a completed ad still does not pay out, email us with your device model and Android/iOS version.
Can I play offline?
Yes. The entire ten-level campaign works with no internet connection. Only the optional ads need one.
Are there in-app purchases?
No. There is no way to spend real money in Deep Dive Danger. Every kit, harpoon and bomb pack is bought with score you earn by playing.
How do I turn the music or sound effects off?
Main Menu → SETTINGS. Background music and sound effects are separate switches, and both stay off until you turn them back on.
Why is my diver shooting on its own?
That is Easy mode, which is how the game starts — the harpoon fires for you so you can concentrate on swimming. If you would rather aim your own shots, go to Main Menu → SETTINGS and switch on Hard Mode. A FIRE button then appears next to the bomb, and you hold it to shoot.
There is no jump button. How do I go up?
Push the stick upward. The stick moves you in any direction — up, down, left, right, and anywhere between. Push it further to swim faster. Let go and you sink gently.
The game launched sideways or the controls sit oddly.
Deep Dive Danger is locked to landscape and runs fullscreen. If your device rotation lock fights it, toggle rotation lock off and relaunch the game.
