The rules for playing Deep Dive Danger. Short, and without the usual wall of legal language.
The short version. The game is free. Play it as much as you like. Don’t cheat, don’t pull it apart and sell it, and remember that the score you collect is part of a game — it isn’t money and can’t be cashed out.
This is an agreement
By installing or playing Deep Dive Danger, you’re agreeing to what’s on this page. If you don’t agree, please don’t install it. The rules of the app store you downloaded from (Google Play or the App Store) apply too.
What you can do
- Play the game on any phone or tablet you own, as much as you want, for free.
- Record it, stream it, put it on YouTube, and make money from those videos — go right ahead. Just credit the game and don’t pretend your video is an official release.
- Take screenshots and share them anywhere.
What you can’t do
- Cheat, hack your save file, or use tools to fake score, unlocks or ad rewards.
- Trick the ads into paying out — that takes money from a real advertiser.
- Pull the game apart, modify it, and hand out your own version.
- Sell the game, its art, its music, or rent it out to anyone.
- Rip out our name or copyright notices.
If you do any of that, we can stop you using the game.
Your score isn’t money
Score, your wallet, diver kits, harpoons and bombs are all part of the game. They:
- aren’t worth real money and can’t be cashed out or refunded;
- can’t be given, sold or traded to another player;
- live only on your phone — so if you uninstall the game or clear its data, they’re gone for good and we can’t bring them back;
- might get rebalanced or changed in a future update, to keep the game fun.
You can’t spend real money in Deep Dive Danger. There are no in-app purchases at all, and we will never ask you for card details.
About the ads
The game is free because ads pay for it. Watching one is always your choice, and you’ll only get the reward if the ad finishes. The ads themselves come from our advertising partner — we don’t pick them and we’re not responsible for what they say or where they lead. Details are on the ads page.
The game is ours
The art, music, characters, writing and code in Deep Dive Danger belong to Sirgeb Entertainment. You’re getting permission to play it, not ownership of it.
Things we can’t promise
We built this game with a lot of care, but we have to be honest: we can’t promise it will work perfectly on every device, that it will never crash, or that your progress can never be lost. It’s provided as it is, and we may update it, change it, or one day stop supporting it.
So if something goes wrong, we can’t be held responsible for losses that follow from it — including lost progress or lost items. You haven’t paid us anything, and our responsibility is limited to that. None of this takes away consumer rights your country gives you, and it doesn’t cover anything the law says we can’t exclude.
Look after yourself
Take a break every hour or so. The game has flashing effects — explosions, screen flashes, blinking when you get hit. If you ever feel dizzy, disoriented, or notice anything odd with your vision, stop playing and talk to a doctor.
Stopping
You can walk away any time by uninstalling the game. We can end things if you break the rules above. Whatever else happens, the sections about score not being money, the game being ours, and what we can’t promise still stand.
Changes and contact
If we update these rules, the date at the top changes, and playing on means you accept them. Your privacy is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.
